This page is for booking a place on The Workshop, ACT’s two-week intensive beginner acting workshop in Brighton.

Course Overview

• Two-week intensive workshop

• Monday to Thursday evenings, 7pm–10pm

• 16 practical classes covering voice, movement, acting technique, improvisation and working with text

• Suitable for absolute beginners and those with some experience

Total cost: £200
A detailed timetable will be sent before the course begins.

Who Can Apply

• Open to adults aged 18+

• Applicants aged 16–18 may be considered with written parental approval

• No previous drama experience required

• All classes are taught in English

Feedback & Progression

Students who wish to receive feedback may book an optional one-to-one feedback session with the Principal or Head of Acting after completing the workshop.

The Workshop is often used as a first step towards ACT’s Foundation and Professional Diploma courses.
